We all see and hear hosts every day, whether via a podcast, TV show or even a live stream. The question is, what actually goes on behind all of the presentation

A lot, actually!

Believe it or not, there can be a lot of pre-production and post-production work still involved for hosts. A lot of it depends on the platform, size and overall content needed for the production. I’ve been very familiar with the process for over 10 years now thanks to my experience with radio broadcasting, podcasting, live event hosting and streaming on Twitch.

Because of this experience, I wanted to put some of the things I’ve learned online for others to learn as well!
